Religious Groups

Sonoma State is comprised of many different ethnicities and cultures that make SSU what it is today. Some of those cultures consists of religion or a religious background. Although SSU is a public university, there are still services and resources available to you as students. There are clubs and local churches/ organizations in the area for each and every religious affiliations.  We, as students in this final, stand behind you in support just as we do with every group that falls within the underrepresented student population: to be heard, included, and respected.

Newman Catholic Center

The purpose is to foster the social growth and spiritual growth of Roman Catholic students on SSU’s campus. Also, to bring about God's love to the world.

No Limits

At No Limits we are here to elevate and encourage college students to be the best that they can be. We fee called to empower those who are searching for a Higher Purpose. We are called to spiritually equip those who desire higher things and the things of God. We feel the need to teach college students character development and helping them to understand that it is a thing, it's possible and it is within limits to achieve. We are here to create a safe space for students and teach them that they can value themselves as individuals. We want to create a place of healing for those who are in recovery. We value integrity and loyalty and feel those are two concepts that need to be imbedded into the millennial generation.

Secular Seawolves at SSU

Secular Seawolves is the only official organization for nonreligious students at SSU. We’re a Secular Student Alliance affiliate dedicated to the growing community of humanists, atheists, agnostics, freethinkers, and similarly-thinking individuals. Our goal is to provide a respectful environment for members to engage in philosophical conversation, give back to the community, advocate secular values, and bond with like-minded people. Secular Seawolves is bigotry-free and open to the faithless, faithful, and questioning. Join us! facebook.com/groups/secularseawolves/ | sonomastate@secularstudents.org
