Resources for Parents
Sonoma State University seeks to include and support all students and to this end recognizes students who are also parents may find the demands of being both exceptionally challenging. To help support SSU student-parents, the University opened The Children’s School on campus providing high quality education and childcare to students aged 1-5 years. The Children’s School is state subsidized and prioritizes low-income eligible families. With the aim of empowering parent-students to achieve their goal of graduation while raising their family at the same time SSU is providing a list of some helpful local services and resources.
