Survivors of Sexual Assault

Safety Resources Continued

Sonoma State University has built a community that supports, strengthens, and helps any student who is in need. Survivors of sexual violence have a place in which they can find the support they need. Women, as well as men, often get discouraged to talk about their trauma. Fear, shame, and guilt are powerful forces. This is why Sonoma State provides any necessary resource to empower women, as well as men, who have survived sexual violence. We, with a close community of survivors, strive to share our trauma and inspire or encourage others to share their stories. Together, we can teach and learn from each other to build a stronger and safer campus community.
