Men's Issues and Groups

Sonoma State consists of in and around 7801 students (As of Fall 2020). Of those 7801 students, 2846 are male for a grand total of 36.48% of the student population. This in itself makes males one of the Underrepresented Groups on SSU's campus. Males in general are an underrepresented group as they are least likely to report mental health issues and use mental health services. In addition to that, men also have lower rates of graduation and attending college. We here at SSU, as students in this Final, want to assure you that you are not alone when it comes to your needs as male students. There are services on campus for you as well as ones in the local area, state, and nationwide; whether it be your emotional, educational, mental, or physical well being.
